Aim: This webinar will support independent preparatory schools in meeting the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) criteria by guiding them through the ISI self-evaluation form. Expert Luke Ramsden will clarify key terminology, contextualise criteria to aid deeper understanding, and offer practical advice on how to conduct an effective self-evaluation.

Why this webinar’s important: It is essential that independent schools understand what criteria they will be assessed against during an ISI inspection and are prepared to meet these criteria. Conducting a self-evaluation using the ISI form can help independent schools identify areas for development in line with the criteria so action can be taken to ensure ISI inspection standards are met.

Outcome 1:

Reviewing the ISI self-evaluation form and identifying key sections and elements within the form

Outcome 2:

Gaining a comprehensive understanding of inspection-related terminology and applying this within the context of ISI inspections

Outcome 3:

Understanding the various roles and responsibilities of stakeholders involved in the inspection process

Outcome 4:

Developing practical skills in completing the ISI self-evaluation form successfully

Outcome 5:

Developing strategies for effectively responding to identified areas for development following a self-evaluation
